<![CDATA[2005 marks my 12th season as a radio/tv play-by-play broadcaster for the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Prior to joining the Bucs’ announcing team, I spent five seasons doing play-by-play and color commentary for the Buffalo Bisons of the American Association. I also hosted a nightly sportsalk show on WGR Radio and anchored morning and afternoon sportscasts.

For four seasons (1990-1993) I worked as a color analyst for the Buffalo Bills of the NFL. I also did some play-by-play and studio host work for the Empire Sports Network.

My association with the Pirates actually began back in 1979 when I interened in the Promotions department while attending Point Park College. Following the World Series that year, I worked as a clubhouse manager during the Instructional League program in Bradenton, Florida.

My 10-year stint with the Pirates front office included work in the sales, public relations, promotions and broadcastin departments.

I served as the public address announcer during the 1987 season at Three Rivers Stadium. IN 1988, I was the weekend sports anchor on WFMJ-TV in Youngstown, Ohio.

During the baseball season, my hobby is focused on immersing myself with baseball information. Though I do try to sneak in a round of golf or two during some of our road

trips with my broadcast partners.

In the off-season, I can spend time with my family and very much enjoy the time away from the booth!
